I do not know how many of these I shall find. “I am not an animal, I am a human being.” I suppose I am looking for versions of the person that come from even lower down the species rung than me.
This is a beautiful movie, one surely that launched Anthony Hopkins’ career. And John Hurt, always loved John Hurt after this…..he is there in 1984, and in V for Vendetta.
Even I am a person. I have been told this here in these blogs repeatedly, yet still I feel my doubts. We all, even in our moments of self-doubt, need to repeat this, “I am not an animal, I am a human being”…even in our doubts, even in our sorrows…..
